The NAM Public Affairs Department handles all aspects of member involvement including outside-the-beltway activity, employee education and involvement, executive education and involvement, in-district congressional relationship building, GOTV efforts, congressional staff tours, plant tours, the NAM Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence, political education, the National Public Affairs Steering Committee and general public affairs activities.
